Be mentally prepared.

So next, you are going to bring your hair into the loc extensions. As you go so, you are rotating it so it’ll maintain a round shape instead of flat, so the purpose of twisting it is rotating so it’ll stay around. So after you go in a few times, you are rotated and bring the hair in from a different direction. And you should make sure you focus the needle where you feel loose hair and push the hair with your finger into the locs.
After you hook all your hair into the locs with a crochet needle, you should roll the hair locs with your fingers.
Install the hair of the locs into your original locs.
You will go in and add the loc extension here to your dreadlocks hair extensions. When it’s surrounded, it is so it’ll blend well. Because you also don’t want to be able to see where the human hair dreadlocks extensions is and whatever where your hair begins, so you should surround it, and then the process continues.
If you want your actual soft dreadlocks to be closer to the mature side and the starter crochet locs side, so they’re tighter, which makes it harder for the needle to go in and out, which is where you’re more prone to stab yourself because you have to use more force so keep that in mind.
