HOW TO INSTALL LOC EXTENSIONS STEP BY STEP?

How to install loc extensions step by step is a hot topic that people are recently discussing about. The purpose of this passage is to show you a step-by-step of how to install extensions. Today, I will write deeply about it in the following angels.

Be mentally prepared.

At first, you may be a little afraid of taking risks on your own, but it is straightforward through my research and the process of teaching yourself how to do it. Once you start to do it yourself, you will be happy that you chose to do it yourself instead of paying anyone anywhere between $300 and $500 to install your lock pin, so a win-win situation.

So if you would instead teach yourself how to do it versus spending money on it, stay tuned, and I will give you guys a step-by-step of how to install your life extensions.

When I was doing research, I didn’t come across such an article. It explained it in a way that if you are a complete beginner, you can master the concept, so I plan to do this article.

Prepare the required tools in advance.

rat tail comb
crochet needle for dreads

crochet hooking dreads

This is one of the crochet dreadlock that is not attached to the dreadlock crochet hair. Just this can be used as an example for everyone to show.

So, first of all, the materials you will need are a rat tail comb, preferably one with the middle, because it’s easier to get in between the crochet dreadlocks to comb out the ends. Besides, you will need a crochet needle for dreads.

Out of all the research, I did nobody specify the best needle or why the best you know to use for your LOC extensions is a 0.5-millimeter crochet needle for locs because the smaller the dreadlock crochet. The better it is for you to get in between you know the tight areas. The bigger the needle, the tighter it is to accomplish. If you only have the one five millimeters you can, you can get the job done. Of course, last but not least, you need your life extension, which looks like this, and you need to make sure that it is also combed out at the end. So three easy things, you get the locs.

Spread the tail of the locs.

You just comb out the ends. You need to comb out at least one to two inches of hair to attach the best afro kinky human hair for dreadlocks properly. So after you have combed out about one inch of your actual dreadlocks hair extensions. You are going to spread the hair out like this. Step two is making sure that your loc extension and your locs are calm down, and then we’re going to move on to step three, which is attaching the loc extension. So what you’re going to do is you’re going to put the base. The locs extension is beginning to lock, and it’s not come down. You’re going to put the base of that loc extension against the base of your actual human hair dreadlocks extensions.

Install your original locs into the new locs.

So that way, the hair from the LOC extensions extends up your locs, and the hair from your locs extends down the locket. You’ve connected them. You intertwined the hair. So you will like to surround the hair with your human dreadlock extensions and the hair with the lock extension. So they engulf each other in a way. If that makes any sense, so it’ll be easier when you’re bringing the crochet needle to get all of the hairs intertwined to get the best connection possible.

Then you will take your crochet needle dreads and the motion you’re going to be making is an in-and-out motion. So as you go in and out, you’re pulling hairs within the dreadlock with extensions, and you’re creating a lot by intertwining the hair.

But there is one thing you need to pay attention to that. If this is your first time doing it and you are a beginner, take your time. Do not try to go super fast. Because it’s almost inevitable that you will stab yourself so please be careful to take the crochet needle.

you’re going to start doing, and as you hold it taut, you can kind of start to feel the hairs weaving into the crochet locs, and you’re going to kind of move the needle. When you grab the hair, you’re just feeling for the hairs threading a man. Then once you’ve gone through it a few times, you’re going to rotate the soft locs crochet. Because you want to create a round shape right, you’re going to rotate it and start bringing the hairs in from the other side. And you’re going for a feel, so it feels tight and firm in between right here where the lock meets the loc extension. Later you will find you have the hair from the locs extension sticking up in your hair sticking out.

So next, you are going to bring your hair into the loc extensions. As you go so, you are rotating it so it’ll maintain a round shape instead of flat, so the purpose of twisting it is rotating so it’ll stay around. So after you go in a few times, you are rotated and bring the hair in from a different direction. And you should make sure you focus the needle where you feel loose hair and push the hair with your finger into the locs.

After you hook all your hair into the locs with a crochet needle, you should roll the hair locs with your fingers.

Install the hair of the locs into your original locs.

crochet dreadlocks

You will go in and add the loc extension here to your dreadlocks hair extensions. When it’s surrounded, it is so it’ll blend well. Because you also don’t want to be able to see where the human hair dreadlocks extensions is and whatever where your hair begins, so you should surround it, and then the process continues.

If you want your actual soft dreadlocks to be closer to the mature side and the starter crochet locs side, so they’re tighter, which makes it harder for the needle to go in and out, which is where you’re more prone to stab yourself because you have to use more force so keep that in mind. If your soft locs crochet hair are already mature and you are in some of your life extensions. The only difference is you had the other lock tools with the two needles is it makes it a lot faster.

If you want to make sure it’s tight, so obviously, when you pull it or when you wash it, they’re not going to come down.
